He will kill the devil soon but not until the two questions the devil brought out was resolved:
1. He questioned the sovereignty of Jehovah to rule the universe.
2. That man will serve only to God because of the blessings he receive.
Please read the Bible, specifically the book of Job.

* We are now living at the last days or very near to the Harmageddon. The devil will be arrested including all the demons (their number is 1/3 of all the angels in heaven) who joined him in revolting against God. He will be thrown to the great Abyss for 1000 years. After 1000 years he will be freed for a short time. At the end of this period he will be punished with everlasting death for the bad things he has done.

God will take care Satan one day. One day the Lord Jesus Christ will return to the earth to judge and make war. When He comes He will take Satan and cast him into the bottomless pit for 1000 years. Revelation 20: 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, Revelation 20: 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Satan then go out and deceives many when he is loosed for a little season and he come to make war against the saints and the Lord takes him and cast him into the lake of fire. Revelation 20: 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Revelation 20: 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Because its to test us before armagedon comes in. He sent him to earth for a couple of years and that a great way for God to know who follows him or the devil, its like a test for humanity, once he thinks the time is up he will lock the devil away for a million years and those who chose to follow him will be punished during armagedon, the ppl who choose to follow god at the end will clean up earth and live forever in paradise with no death, no tears, no pain. Thats why he doesnt get rid of him hes just waiting for the right time.

The devil doesn't exist. He NEVER DID. Jesus used him as a metaphor to teach the uneducated masses. Unfortunately, it stuck (a result of LITERAL translation & not FIGURATIVE), & that's who people blame when everything seems to go wrong in their life. People need to blame SOMEONE, so why not this fictional character?

God doesn't HAVE an enemy. He's omnipotent, all loving, being, & if someone does bad things CONTINUALLY (ie-Hitler, but that's a drastic example), once they're dead, He just absorbs those souls back into His mass & they lose their individuality.

Besides, what makes us mere humans, who are NOT in the public eye in any way, interesting to the devil (who doesn't exist)? Why not go after Billy Graham, Benny Hinn, Pat Robertson (*shudders*)? It makes NO sense.

We (including Satan)were created with a free will so that we could choose to truly love or refuse God. God didn't create mindless robots on purpose. This leads to the answer to your question... When God puts an end to Satan he will stop all those that have rebelled against him. He can't do one and not the other because the problem is one and the same. He won't just "get rid of Satan" because for now he has not put an end to rebellion.

The real reason for the existence of the Devil is to help God sort out which spirits he wants to hang on to forever and which he can dump. Satan doesn't know that of course. God decided to use him rather than destroy him when he first learned of Satan's flawed spirt.

You might refer to Satan as Heaven's Quality Control guy.

God promised us in the very first prophecy at Genesis 3:15 that Satan would be done away with. He knows he only has a short time left (Rev.12:12)
Rev.20:10 assures us of his destruction.

who told you that the devil only does things he is told .that's absurd.
if he was told what to to do ,so you are telling me that God is the one who told Satan to give Eve the forbidden APPLE.
The book of Revelations says that ''............and the devil will be cast out.........''There is a difference on someone who allows and cause something to happen. We are the ones who allowed ourselves to be deceived by the Devil.,Adam and Eve then there will ve no devil around.
What we can only do is stay away from evil and do the right thing .

God set the rules that angels are eternal beings and He isn't going to break his own rules. No, he isn't going to eventually either. He will throw Satan in the lake of fire in the end though. This is eternal separation from God. Revelations 20:10-15
