20 minutes per pound = 90 minutes total for you. Don't forget to baste often with some chicken broth or it will dry out.
I like steamed artichokes.

Actually you should bake the chicken at 350 and keep it in the oven for 1 hour, covered with a foil tent.
As for the Artichokes. Trim off the ends and place them in a steamer basket for your pan, fill the pan with just enough water so it comes just below the veggies and turn on the heat to medium. Throw in a wedge of lemon. Cover the pan and steam for about 10 to 15 minutes. The veggies should look bright green but te leaves should still come away.

Twenty Minutes per pound times 4.5 = 90 minutes but that is at the normal 350 degrees. I would steam the artichokes but I don't care for them at all. Bake your chicken on a rack and baste it often with butter to keep the skin from drying out and to add flavor.

Yes, 20 minutes a lb. Artichokes are fabulous grilled with a little olive oil and fresh garlic, salt and pepper put on before you grill. However you must steam them first and cut them in half then brush on the oil, etc. You can do this without grilling if you don't have a grill handy.
