I can twist the switch however can't seem to get it out. The guy at NAPA said to put a paper clip in the hole, but it didn't work. Any ideas?

first you have to have the correct key in the lock cylinder to get the cylinder out of the switch. the key has to be in the acc. position then press the release pin with a suitable tool and the Lock cylinder should slide right out. if you are trying to change it because you don't have the key, then you need to buy the lock cylinder w/new keys and new ignition switch and just plug it in and go.

Be sure the switch is on accessory. Turn the switch counter clockwise while pushing in on the paper clip in the hole. It should turn back one notch and the cylinder will be released and pull right out. Sometimes it takes a while to get this to work, but you should eventually get it this way.
