Unfortunately, they are usually sent by people that believe you must "do things" in order to get to Heaven. They try to use guilt to make people do things and for those that truly don't know Jesus it works. My MIL sends stuff on like that and I don't reply. Then she calls me on the phone and asks why I didn't reply. I don't have time for it and no one I know wants to get that stuff. Failing to forward them in no way rescinds my acceptance of Jesus as my Saviour and I don't care if I upset other people. I refuse to make someone feel guilty about something absurd.

I'm not a christian anyway. I wouldn't worry about the emails though, they are probably sent by those fundamentalists who think that if you dont agree with their interpretation of a specific, obsgure verse in the bible then you are the antichrist. They are the pepole who give christianity a bad name.
They are ignorant, self centred people who have probably had a priveleged upbringing over their 12 or 13 years of life who should not comment on anything intil they have experienced something of the real world.
Thanks for the opportunity for a rant.

I don't read them in the first place just delete them from the start like ALL chain letters. If the other person was a good Christian they wouldn't send me crap like that.

No by no potential Scooter, i anticipate you met this pricey someone right here, and what surpassed off on your connection became a starting to be, and conversing previous right here. I truly must trust there became some mutual leisure, yet "slowly" is the technique and that i doubt you'd be a lot less concept-about contained in the doing.

YES! They drive me crazy and make me mad. I have to fight the urge to block the senders' addresses. Sending a stupid email has nothing to do with how much you love Jesus! I never forward those things. They usually aren't even worth forwarding. Even if they do have a nice poem or something that I like, I delete the part about not loving Jesus if you don't forward it. THEN I forward it. But not to everybody I know....just to the select few that would appreciate it. I hate when people send something to every address in their address book.

Yes, I do. I delete them also. I also delete the ones that say now send this to 10 people and you will get a blessing in 10 minutes, or the like.

I don't like chain letters of any type, and I have never been comfortable sending stuff like that on. Consequently, I delete it.

Chain letters aren't Christian; they're witchcraft.
