Maybe he likes the attention and likes it when he hears his phone rings. It's a ego thing and I use to do the same to girls I've just met. Every time you call, it reassures him that you want him and wants to be with him, or so he thinks, and why stop a good feeling. Next time, tell him that you will leave a voice mail and that's it. Leave the VM and stop calling him. Find someone who will spend time with you rather than wasting your time.

If you are concerned, have someone check on him. If not he may be ignoring you. I wouldn't call anymore or you will look desperate. Let him call you.
