...based solely on teachings found in the Qur'an. If so, how should a Muslim treat me - again, based solely on the words found in the Qur'an?

One could call me an atheist without reservation. The concept of 'God' or 'Allah' explains nothing I've observed.

Based solely on the teachings of the Quran, not a single person has the right to call another an infidel. Based on teachings in the Quran, God and ONLY God knows what is truly in a person's heart and is the only One that can judge a person based on this.

Even those that declare that God does not exist cannot be called infidels because, again, only God knows what is in the heart of the person. Only He knows what kind of message about God was given to him, if any at all. God describes in the Quran that an infidel is a person who knows God, who believes in Him, yet refuses to worship Him or obey His commands. How can a stranger know all of this about a person?

Based on the teachings in the Quran, a Muslim would treat you with respect and dignity, be kind and generous to you, and if with means and ability, protect you from harm. If you were to cause harm, then we have every right to defend ourselves, yet we are told by God in the Quran that we must NOT transgress, for God does not love the transgressors.

Depends on the Muslim. Of course, by definition an infidel is someone who does not believe in Allah, so therefore anyone of a non-Muslim faith would be considered an infidel. But there again, it depends on the Muslim. Depends on their upbringing and how literal they take the Qur'an.
Being an atheist, you could be condemned by people of many religions, not just Islam.

Muslims are a religion of destruction, but Christianity is not a religion its a way of life. They hate Christians because they follow the way the true and living God. Allah is not real and muhammad is in hell with not 72 virgins but 72 demons.

To a Muslim, anyone who isn't a Muslim is an infidel.

In Islam, every Muslim is allowed to decide the meaning of that term for himself. That's why the injunction found in 4.93 (absolutely no intentional killing of believers) has abslolutely no meaning.

Shiites blow up Sunnis (but they aren't believers). Sunnis blow up Shiites (but they aren't believers). And Al Qaeda blows up all of them (but they aren't believers). Neat, huh?

Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects Evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

The BIBLE:

(2 Thessalonians 2:3 NASB/WEY).

"Let no one in any way deceive you, for that day cannot come without the coming of the apostasy first, and the appearing of the man of sin, the son of perdition."

Deuteronomy 13:6-10:

If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which [is] as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; [Namely], of the gods of the people which [are] round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the [one] end of the earth even unto the [other] end of the earth; Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: BUT THOU SHALT SURELY KILL HIM; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt STONE HIM WITH stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

(Joshua 6:20-21)

Joshua son of Nun wished to enter Palestine with his people. So he encamped around the city of Jericho and commanded the people to blow their horns. "As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people raised a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. Then they utterly destroyed all in the city, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and asses, with the edge of the sword "
