It's possible to get pregnant anytime during your cycle. Sure, there are times when it's less likely to happen, but that doesn't mean it can't or won't. Your best bet is to not have unprotected sex at all if you're worried about getting pregnant. Even if you're on the pill or patch, as they're still not 100% effective at preventing pregnancy.

You shouldn't be having unprotected sex ever, unless you are monogamous and wish to take the chance of having a baby. The chance of getting pregnant during your period is lower, but it is still a possibility. After your last day of your cycle, the chances are a lot less, but who would take a chance. It sounds like you don't want to get pregnant so you should abstain from unprotected sex. Besides, have you heard of STDs?

There are no guaranteed methods that would prevent you from becoming pregnant should you decide to have unprotected sex. Just as there are no methods that guarantee that you will not get a sexually transmitted disease. Condoms, birth-control pills, and shots are protections, not guarantees. There are only two methods that I am aware of to prevent you from getting pregnant or obtaining a STD and I can guarantee you that you will not like either. The first is to have an operation to have your reproductive organs removed. The second is to refrain from having sex all together.

You can get pregnant while you are on your period. You can get pregnant even if he doesn't ejaculate inside you, just near you.
My advice to you is to go to a Planned Parenthood Clinic, or to the Health Department, or to the school nurse, and ask about getting on the pill or getting an IUD (they can explain what this is -- but it's convenient because no one can see it and you never have to remember anything.) This will prevent you from getting pregnant. Then you won't ever have to worry about being pregnant.
But you should still make the guy wear a condom, so he can't give you any germs. I know that this is easier said than done, but if you get genital warts, or herpes, or AIDs, you'll wish you had insisted that he had to wear a condom.
Take care of yourself: get on the pill or get an IUD. Don't put this off until later. Go ahead and do it now. It won't hurt anything.

You can get pregnant if you have your period. The only method of birth control that can be used with unprotected sex is the rythum method. However it is only about 50% effective, maybe less.
Try the cervical cup or a diaphram. When used correctly both can be about 97% effective and it still gives you the feeling of unprotected sex.

Don't have unprotected sex unless you are married and you want children. It can happen anytime of the month because the sperm can live inside of you for 7days.
If you are married and you don't want children and you want "full contact" try the 'other' door or get on the pill.

Yes, definitely, and you can get all types of STDs at any time, so respect yourself and use protection at all times. Unprotected sex is not an option.
