do you believe that the cure for cancer has been found, but not offered to the public, due to drug co. income?

The drug manufacturers make billions per year, and people still have no cures for cancers......we are so overwhelmed with ill people and so electronicly advanced now, why won't they release the truth and save some people? Just curious what people thought about this....thanks...

I don`t believe drug companies have a good enough incentive to actually find a cure. Think of all the billions of dollars they would lose every year if people did not need to buy their other drugs I.E. the cancer treatment drugs. If they found an actual cure, they would suffer a drastic ' pay cut ' so why would they want to do that to themselves? So no, I don`t believe they have a universal cure, and they`re not even looking for one. Either that , or what you just said.

Yes, absolutely. I'd say the cure was found about 1954, but big business sat on it coz there was too much money to be made. You can't FIND the cure if you already HAVE the cure. Terry Fox ran across Canada and raised $25M, how many $M did Steve Fonyo raise running across Canada, running across Australia, swimming the English Channel? Think of all the walk-a-thons, dance-a-thons, bake-a-thons, etc. that have been held ad nauseum. All the little coin boxes in doctors' offices, by store cashiers, etc. How many TRILLIONS of dollars do you imagine have been collected since the various national cancer agencies have been formed? And understand this, that money isn't what was spent, i.e. given to research bodies, that is PRINCIPAL. That was invested and the interest is what was given to the research bodies. And at those amounts, i.e. TRILLIONS, the cancer agencies had investment options far beyond what you and I would have with our comparatively paltry amounts to invest. Not only is that much money actually a DISincentive to find a cure, it is, in a very real sense, no longer money, it is POWER....the kind of power that can buy not only people, but governments, countries, sizeable chunks of the whole planet, sitting on a cancer cure is nothing.

The answer has been found in preventing it in the first place. U.S. law 103-417 has shown that over 20,000 studies conclude we can prevent disease such as cancer, heart disease and osteoporosis, 2 of the 3 biggies, by proper healthful diets. The problem is, who's going to advertise it? Not the pharmaceutical industry as that will put them out of business. Not the disease associations, Cancer Inst. Diabetes Assoc... as that will put them out of business. Of course we keep supporting them because we want "the cure". Diabetes magazine, a national publication, wrote an article how drug companies are not looking to create cures, they are looking for more ways to treat symptoms. In fact, they are looking forward to the next block buster disease. Diabetes has lancetes, glucose monitors, shoes, socks, insulins, boots, several drugs for circulation, glucose monitoring... and more. The are waiting for a similar disease to create more products and profits. This is why I don't support the "Race for the Cure" or any other like organization.

We all know that eating properly is key but, did you know the FDA raised the servings amount of fruits and vegetables to 9-11 servings everyday? Why? Because our foods do not have the nutritional value they had 50 years ago and we need to eat more to get the same previous value. Who even eats the 3-5? That is why we need to supplement our diets with whole foods nutrition. That is also why I became a wellness consultant and although I know the task ahead of me is daunting, the reward will be great. I've had cancer so I know a little about it. Cancer comes in so many different forms and can be in so many places, I think a conventional cure like a drug would be impossible to make. What we need to figure out is how Cancer starts and figure out ways to prevent it.

won't be able to treatment something they do no longer understand what reasons it. additionally,maximum cancers is many ailments so there could no longer be one treatment. The scientific shield lung maximum cancers is different then for Breast maximum cancers. absolutely everyone that believes that the drug agencies have a treatment stay in a international of stupid. That fantasy has been going around for years. There isn't a entire treatment yet they do have drugs that make it treatable to stay longer with a reliable high quality of existence. remember no person gets out of existence alive. Your going to die from something.

I have serious doubts that pharmaceutical companies would put the funds towards cures for cancer. Things like outside funds and grants from the government, research from different schools are probably the best hopes for finding cures.

Some cancers have very high cure rates.

What you should be asking is:

Why do we still allow people to smoke when we know it kills hundreds of thousands of people a year, and causes many more people to suffer from lung, heart, vascular and other diseases?

There are many types of cancer and many treatments are successful. However I have overcome the worst kind back in the seventies and since have been used of God to pray for healing. I believe most cancer is an attack of the devil who wants to kill you. Usually God uses me to pray about terminal cancer and He heals the people. An important aspect of healing is receiving Jesus as your saviour and healer because it is written and said, "By His stripes we are healed."
