I'm no dermotologist, but I used to have a big problem with pimples too. I started using Dial Gold Bar soap, and then it was like they disappeared. You might try that. If it's acne, try mud bars or baths. They dry up oil really well. The best thing I have found has been that soap though. And make sure you use the bar and not the liquid.

The best way to get rid off pimples is to wash your face with warm water, do not use soap...just after drying your face
you'll need a ripe paw paw scrape the inside of it using a spoon and rub it on your face
then leave it for say 45min
do this for a week, it will help.

Home acne remedies: Wash the face thoroughly with a non-oily face wash twice a day. After wiping off the water from the face apply tea-tree oil on the face. This can reduce the acne chances.
Don’t apply any oily or chemical cosmetics on the face. Apart from this basic acne remedy you can also use natural cleansers for better results.
Herbal acne remedies: For making herbal acne remedies lavender, chamomile, juniper, dandelion root, burdock and bergamot are instrumental. These herbal acne remedies can improve the skin condition considerably. Other herbs like hazel an excellent astringent, red clover an estrogen, and pokeroot an anti-inflammatory are herbal acne remedies.

I use the Clear Skin Regimen at http://www.acne.org. It's a non-profit (so it's free), the guy who created used to suffer from pimples himself. The system works wonders on my face, and its helped countless other people. The best part is that you don't have to order or buy any expensive treatments, everything you need for the Regimen can be found at your local drugstore. Find out more at the website.
In general, for clear skin it helps if you: don't touch/pick at your skin, drink lots of water, wash your hair frequently, change your pillowcases, exercise, wear little make-up (or if needed, hypo-allergenic makeup), and minimize stress.
Another tip is to look up online consumer reviews of acne products before you buy them, using sites like epinions.com or drugstore.com. A great website I use to get cosmetic reviews is makeupalley.com (A mostly women's site). Hope this helps!

firstly spots or pimples can heel better if you treat them correctly, bath in warm water then with clean hands and a tissue gently squeeze, keep the spot clear from grease, use an oil free moisturiser but to stop spots you could eat a better diet, non greasy foods and drink plenty of water or if your female and on the pill ask your doctor about dianette it's a pill and acne treatment in one, works wonders, if not ask your doctor about a treatment for spots.

Aside from not eating sugar or dairy, try carrot seed oil. This is an essential oil which you can add to a base oil you have like olive oil or a moisturizing creme.
Try the creme first.
