~Well, let's see: the myth says god is in heaven - god did Sodom, Gamorrah and the Flood. Ergo: yes, according to the mythology, heaven is run by a murderer.

No. The bible condems murderers. Numbers 35:31 states ' And you must take no ransom for the soul of a murderer who is deserving to die, for without fail he should be put to death.' So you see, murderers will have no place with god or his organization, for they are deserving to die. And another scripture. Acts 3:14 states 'Yes, You (meaning God) disowned that holy and righteous one, and You asked for a man, a murderer, to be freely granted to you' A murderer CAN be forgiven for his sins, if he didn't know who the true god was, and if he heartully repents, meaning that he will NEVER do this sin again. God can see into people's hearts and can tell if he or she is truely sorry for what they had done, but if he sees otherwise, he won't forgive you. A murderer can be forgiven, but he will never have a place in heaven.

There is no heaven, and there is no hell. It's all right here on earth. It's just too bad you will have to live your whole life thinking there is an afterlife only to be let down in the end. What a waste. By the way what freakin' world is "princess B" living in? I wonder what the air is like there, I might want to visit if I wish to take a vacation...from reality. Well, I gotta get back to LIVING LIFE!!!! Have fun playing with the other children...OK NOW, BYE BYE THEN...

that is a tough question this may be a little far fetch but I do believe that their are some murders in heaven. the people who had something to do with Jesus murder were forgiven and to my knowledge those who are forgiven for their sins have a chance in heaven. I know Murder is a No No but those who had killed in there life such as the people who killed over a family member or for a family member might be there. the only way to know is to go there one day. I hope not today. you have nice day

No, they may have been a murderer on earth but asked for forgiveness in Jesus name before they left this life, therefore they arrived in Heaven without fault/sin.
So no there are no murders in heaven only the FORGIVEN.

The Bible only mentions a few people who are in Heaven:
Moses (who killed somebody, so I guess that made him a murder), Enoch, Elijah, and those who were raised from the dead with Jesus.
I'm sure there will be people in Heaven who have murdered other people; God is a God of Justice, but also of Mercy, so those who repent will be forgiven, no matter what they have done.

Yes, if anyone turns to Christ and truly repents of his or her sins and accepts Him as their Lord and Savior then they are in heaven. Paul is in heaven and he stood by and held the robes of the Sanhedrin who stoned Stephen to death. In modern times that would make him an accessory to murder. No sin is worse than any other, man tends to decide which sins are worse. All sin is sin and all have the opportunity for repentance. The first person that Christ took to heaven with him was the thief who hung on the cross next to him, I don't know what all his sins were but he realized that Christ was the answer to his forgiveness and salvation so, he went to heaven.

There are murderers in heaven. They're the ones who accidentally murdered somebody on self defense. But the murderers who continously murdered as their job in order to live, well, that's for sure cannot be allowed to go to heaven. Provided, they truly repent before they die.

Dear doorseeker,
I can tell you that Saul of Tarsus (who later became the apostle Paul) was persecuting those of the early church. Remember that he held the cloaks of those who stoned Stephen. The book of Acts tells us that Saul was breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the followers of Christ.
Now if we go to the Old Testament, we know that David was a child of God. He loved the Lord with all his heart. While still a young man, he killed goliath-the Philistine that cursed the God of Israel. However, dookeeper, I think we must distinguish what murder is. When we are serving in the army of our country, to protect it's citizens, I do not think that is murfer. Just as a police officer has to kill someone who has threatened the life of another citizen. Murder is when you plan to kill someone because they have embarrassed you, taken advantage of you, or you do not like them for some reason. For more info please see this website: www.familyradio.com.

There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Revelation 21:1. So before we fixate our eyes on going to heaven. Ultimately we are populating the NEW EARTH.
