Christians sole purpose is to glorify God through worshiping Jesus! It is my contention through studying masonry that it is purely satanic. You can't see it on the surface because it is disguised. It SEEMS to be all about making people good and respectable and many other positive descriptive words. I am also very happy with the work of Shriner's Hospitals and other good works of some Masons. But what can be said of an organization that doesn't care to mention Jesus but still says you must believe in a Deity. You might be able to mention the name Jesus in the presence of other Masons but if someone says they do not believe in Jesus how can someone who claims to be a Christian not feel obligated to stand up for Jesus. If the Deity isn't Jesus, particularly Jesus and only Jesus, it is simply the devil no matter how you slice it. No one can get to God the Father except through Jesus, that includes our prayers. That's why we pray in Jesus' name. And yes, I am a Jesus freak!

Some say they don't claim to be Christians, but a lot of people go into Masonry thinking it is a Christian organization, because that's sort of the way they promote themselves. I have several family members who were involved in the Masonic lodge for many years, and they all left at about the same time. I don't think masonry is an organization that a Christian should be involved in at all. Freemasonry appears to be in the middle of some pretty satanic, evil stuff. At least the higher degrees are, but the lower degrees know nothing about it.
I've read lots of theories over the years that freemasons sank the Titanic because of John Jacob Astor, they killed Marilyn Monroe, they've rigged every important election, they assassinated JFK and Abe Lincoln. I don't know how much of it to believe, but they do seem to have infiltrated some pretty high spots in society. A Christian should run as far away from these organizations as possible!

Battling religious beliefs is not the purpose of the masons... their purpose is not to defend jesus...

The reason you dont understand this is because you do not know what Masonry is all about or what they do. You do not know this because the Masons are a secret society who do not share their beliefs with the public. If you want to know about them, guess you should join. But... if you cant handle a little bit of religious freedon or debate, then you are probably not a good candidate anyway.

Why are christians so hypocritical, so egotistical? You know, once upon a time Christianity was a minority in the religious world... and to tell you the truth, it is more of an adaptation created by man than it is the actual word of God. If you want to get more accurate info you should try Islam... a religion that existed long before anybody cared about Christianity. I think it is very close minded to believe that only christian beliefs are just, and all others are going to hell.

the position to commence in this one?!? First, i'm a mason. second, I (you want this) am an atheist. Now, you want to understand some issues about mainstream Masons. Masons do no longer care what faith you're. you'd be Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, or perhaps Christian. the in person-friendly words prerequisite is that "you've faith in a larger being". that's it. we do not care previous that. Now as for something else of your dogmatic rants- i visit't answer you. you're and could always be closed minded. I advise you no problem your self about others (pretty those with beliefs except your man or woman, that's about 4 billion human beings) and stumble on a set of different closed minded bigots, flow out to the woods someplace and pray on your god all day, if that's would make you satisfied. besides the undeniable fact that, I truly have the sensation that you're going to under no circumstances be a joyful man or woman because you spend all some time judging others. See your bible for the way your god feels about that. understand- you're a MINORITY! Have a helpful day!

Grow up and get over yourself. Just because one does not believe the way you do does NOT make it satanic or evil. The Masons have done and are still doing wonderful things for the communities they are in. Your very own Bible says "Judge not lest ye be judged." Why is it that all of you closed minded folk always manage to forget that?

You are a moron. Have you read Angels and Demons? What does Masonry is make things out of brick. I can't even begin to tell you how wrong you are. Because they don't talk about Jesus they are satanists? The Jews don't recognize Jesus as God's son. Are you saying they worship satan too? I am a christian and it's people like you that give us a bad name. You sound like a muslim extremist with a bomb strapped to his back going to blow up a bunch of infedels. You should be ashamed of yourself for judging them like that. My grandfather is a mason, a shriner, and a better christian than you could ever hope to be.

Anything that prescribes a closed minded, "Black and White" dogma, like Christianity, Catholicism, Judism, Muslim-ism, etc. will make it difficult to understand the view of others. I can see why you are having issues understanding any of it being the proclaimed "Jesus freak" you say you are.

There are more than one means to "The End". Who's to say what right? Not everyone can be right. Or can they?

George Washington was deistic and a Mason. The two were not/are not incompatible. To save you and me hours of writing and reading I will refer you to a discussion site where this issue has been thoroughly discussed already. Don't believe all this extremism about the Masons. They don't worship Satan.

the Masons are just the millions of people that think they are Christian's, get this some serial killers thought they were Christian's and killed in the name of god just look at the suicide bombers on September 11, they thought they where doing a work of god when in reality they are in the furnace of fire aka HELL. Not to condemn them but they still have a chance to repent so do billions of people on this earth but will they do it nope, only a few. Are you aware of false prophets that come to you in sheep's clothing Matthew 7:15 if you are a born again you will be able to discern some of these false prophets, not all of them Millions upon millions but just a few.

The Masons are an extremely good group of people who do a lot of good for a lot of people. Despite what you say (and..you do need to grow up a bit), the Lord smiles down upon them. Who are you to be so blatant against a group of people you obviously know nothing about?

sorry to disagree with you. but the sole purpose of christians is to glorify GOD, even HIS son JESUS said so. but then again here we go with GOD JEHOVAH IS HIS NAME, HIS SON IS Jesus CHRIST and HOLY SPERIT is HIS force to get things done.never once did JESUS say the the HOLY SPERIT was a god.only two was mention by THIMOTHY ,when he was being stoned, he looked into the havens and saw JESUS on the right hand of his father, GOD. and now you see , even atheist read the bible, a very good book, if you read it right.
