Possibly, but you might want to consider taking the puppy to some puppy training. PetSmart has a great program and I believe PetCo has a training program as well. I took my puppy (who is 5 years old now) to the PetSmart puppy training and it helped a lot.

Not if this becomes a habit. You want to give her things to chew that are approporiate and praise her to no end when she chews her toys and other things that you give her. Firmly tell her "no" when she chews things that she's not suppose to. If she's left alone for long periods, you want to make sure that she has toys and things to occupy her. I gave my Chi pup the fat ends of carrots to chew when she was teething. You can refrigerate them and make them cold so they're soothing for her gums. Put in the time to gently train her correctly while she's young and you won't be disappointed.

well she probably wont chew as much as she does now...but all dogs like to chew on things..its how they clean their teeth!

try a good kong toy..one with grooves or holes. put some peanut butter in it! it will keep her busy. and make sure you keep things off the floor you don't want her to have. and get electrical cord covers for any exposed wires..(they WILL chew on them, and can electrocute themselves). get the thick heavy duty ones, you can find them at any office supply store.

She needs to chew. Give her stuffed Kongs and bones not made of rawhide - bully sticks, pig ears.
