I want to surprise her. the place we used to use is gone. Need a freshly killed duck with about a pint of blood. It is a traditional Polish thing!

Go down to Hamtramck and hit up one of those Polish specialty stores. Make sure you add 1/2 cup vinegar to duck blood to prevent coagulation, made that mistake before. Try Srodek's Campau Quality Sausage the number is (313) 875-1334.

my husband is polish and he suggests that you look for a polish deli or store in your area - they might have frozen and that would be the best you could do. You could also try a polish restaurant in the area

Go to a farm and buy one in your area, you dont want some wild disease infested one, maybe in the old days it was ok but not the pond ones these days.....uhhh
