My understanding is that theistic evolution requires an intelligence to guide evolution thus requiring a god, intelligent design (and i understand the subtle differences) also requires an overseer to create the design in the first place. Both theories are false because they assume the existence of a superior intelligence

if something requires a superior intelligence that doesnt render it false because it is impossible to disprove a superior intelligence's existence if it is omnipresent

if theistic evolution suggests that God predestined animals to become the way they are, then yes it is intelligent design

your right it isan't intelligent design says god created the world in six days. If you thinkk it is thiestic evolution that is saying that god creted the world by using years of death and decay and called it very good. that is not possible.
