I have a 2 year old son who is Bi-racial do u think its okay for him to wear his hair as an afro i've been getting mixed reactions

unlike some other hairstyles on children (i once saw a 4 yr old with a bright orange spiked mohawk dressed like a goth; his parents were goth too), an afro doesn't cross the borderline of bad parenting/caretaking. an afro is not tasteless or inappropriate by any means. if i saw a 2 yr old with a 'fro, i'd say 'How cute!'

I hate to say it but it depends on his face. Some kids don't look good with an afro. It usually is cute if it 's shaped up and not all over the place. Base it on what you like at this point, when he gets older he will let you know what he likes.

I think that if the hairstyle is easier for you, then it's fine. I think that an afro is the hairstyle that most people comment on. They either love it or hate it. My 4 year old godson has a curly afro and I think it's cute. Maybe because it matches my hairstyle, which I get comments on.

How cute.My son is 5 days away from being 3 years old.He had this cute curly afro and it was the most adorable thing.I recently started getting him haircuts when he started school.These are children and they are not caught up in vanity.If your son enjoys his afro.Let him be.He must look so cute.Dont worry about what others say.Consider cutting it once he starts school if thats what you want.

look im onley 14 but having a 2 yr old with a afro is just to cute! i bet you they just wish they had a chance to give their kids a afro even if they are black white or a mix. he is a lucky boy.!

An afro is no longer attractive for a black man, unless he is getting his braided. Try going to a barber shop and find someone who can braid it or just give him a crew cut. Its easier on maintenance.

I think if he can grow that much hair, go for it. Just make sure to take good care of it, keep it trimmed nicely and most of all....CLEAN!
