We can see something and still not believe. You have to believe something in order to see it fully.

I have a saying "believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear."

What I mean by that is: you go to the SuperMarket and you see your boyfriend at the counter, when you were walking in you noticed his ex-girlfriend walking out. Now, DID THEY EVEN KNOW THE OTHER ONE WAS IN THE STORE or do you "jump the gun" and accuse him of seeing her? So YOU CAN'T believe everything you see. Sometimes people are just in the same place at the same time (hey, your at the supermarket too) did you plan on meeting him there? No, so realize that its very possible that neither did she.

I believe that believeing is seeing. I do not believe that seeing is believeing. I cannot see God, but I KNOW he is for real.

I think if u see proof then u would probably believe. Why does it have to be u have to believe in order to see? That sounds really difficult.

in times of great hardship, God does reach out. And in this God has said that the worst sinners make the best preachers.

Yet, testimony of truths can add to faith. Faith is worthless without actions,.. so actions aid to stronger faith.

in answer to athiest replys... God exsists outside space and time (witch is but a side effect to the creation of matter) so Gods form wouldn't be physical in the slightest.

We don't see/haven't seen:

Air, George Washington, the earth's core, frequencys and wavelengths, Napolean Dynamite, gravity, sound, Time...etc.

You don't have to see God, to believe..You FEEL Him, just like things naturally. You feel his presence, and when we talk about "seeing" God, we mean that you see him work in your life; things begin to change, to look up, things begin to work out in your life.
Seeing is not Believing.

No one alive on earth today (or perhaps ever, for that matter) has seen God, unless it involved an LSD trip or other type of hallucination. In that case I would have to say no, seeing is not believing.

I don't believe that to believe is to see. I don't believe in god and if he really WANTED me to, then he should be able to show himself to me.

I asked people to describe God.

Click on my avatar and read the answers to the top two questions. It should become apparent that people who claim to know God exists can't even describe him.

The most common description given was that he does not exist.

Atheism, the only logical choice.

No... because seeing without understanding would equate to false beliefs. A baby has no memories because they have no language to describe things, and therefore no way to understand what they are seeing.

How can one know God? He is unknowable.

Best wishes.
