I would like to know where I can find anything about Social Impact of Engineering. I'm preparing myself for P.Eng. of Ontario.

Thanks,

Wow! That's a huge topic. To narrow it down, you might pick just a few key engineering projects, and follow the of changes resulting from them. Try finding some books on: the invention of the integrated circuit, the invention of the airplane, the building of the first transcontinental railroad, the invention of the cellphone, the effects of constructing central water and sewer systems on public health. A fun read is James Burke's Connections book, and the accompanying TV series (PBS).

Just think about the good old days; that never were. Consider increased mobility and specialization that stimulate trade and full employment with a higher standard of living. Good luck.
