Nope, But last week I was staying right near there at the Holiday Inn Capitol. The hotel is just a couple blocks from the Capitol mall, the Capitol building, a bunch of the Smithsonian museums, and the Washington monument. If I'm not mistaken, there is a metro station below the hotel.

I'm sorry to tell you that we just got home from D.C. We stayed at L'Enfant the first 3 days of the trip and I thought it was horrible and would not recommend it. To begin with, after traveling all day we got there and discovered they did not have the room we had reserved. There were four of us and we were supposed to have a non-smoking room with 2 double beds. They informed us that they didn't have one. I couldn't believe it. What's the point of making a reservation if they aren't going to have the room you requested? They were unfriendly and never apologized...just kept saying that they didn't have the room. They could give us a "parlor" which had no actual beds!! ...a sofa bed and a roll-away. For $147/night (and that was the good rate...AAA), I really felt that everyone ought to be able to sleep in a bed! At the very least I think an apology and a free night would have been in order. I spoke to the manager who also couldn't have cared less. Finally, (after 20 min?) the manager came up with a room with 2 double beds. (So why wasn't it available when we first got there?) When we got up to the room it reeked with cigarette smell.
We went to the restaurant for dinner because there was nowhere else to eat. It's overpriced and not very good. My husband ordered a $10 hamburger. When the bill came the hamburger was listed as $11.50 and another item was $1 more than the menu stated. I pointed this out to the waiter. He shrugged and came back with a corrected bill. What? Do they just make up the prices as they go along? Again, no apology or explanation. I guess they just wait to see whether anyone catches them.
The pool is nice sized, but closes at 8 pm, which just about made it inaccessible for us. With two teenagers, we really could have swam at 9 pm.
Room service was not as exhorbitantly priced as it usually is, but the person bringing it was rude and unfriendly. There is a whole mall of shops and restaurants below the hotel, but it's only open on weekdays during business hours. If you're out touring all day and get back after 6 pm or it's a weekend, you're out of luck.
The ONLY thing to recommend this hotel is that there is Metro stop below it and it is a connection stop so several lines stop there. The Metro is wonderful. I found it amazing that the city did such a good job with it when the rest of the city is sort of a mess from a tourist/planning standpoint. I think they ought to hire Disney management to come in and show them how to deal with large numbers of tourists.
There is a Holiday Inn a few blocks from L'Enfant. If I were you I would check into that. I tried to cancel our next two nights at L'Enfant and go there, but L'Enfant charges a $50 fee if you leave before the day you said you were going to check out. Another practice I have never encountered at any other hotel. I think they must be afraid their "guests" would be leaving in droves.
Because we could not get a room on 7/4 at L'Enfant, we spent a few nights in Maryland to go to Six Flags (another huge rip-off). The original plan was to go back to L'Enfant. I did cancel that reservation and we stayed at a Sheraton in Arlington, which wasn't really up to typical Sheraton standards, but was not quite as aggravating as L'Enfant...at least we got a better rate there.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but...I'd look for something else nearby if you can.

Yes, it's ok but do not expect to be near any kind of night life in that part of town but on the flip side you'll be right down the street from the national mall and all the museums.
In DC there are too many cool things to do to list, you'll have the metro right below the hotel so you will have access to the whole city. Spend your days site seeing, nights in georgetown or chinatown and I'm sure you will have a great time

It's a very upscale hotel right in the thick of everything near the capital. Very nice rooms - and if you like jazz - they have a jazz night.
Did you go to their website?
