Ask her to marry you.., when you feel in your heart, the right timing and make sure your completely sure. because nothing cushes a girl when you regret wanting to marry them. She may think its going no where if you dont ask her.. its just how most of us think. but not everyone is the same. So, You should ask her when your feel you know its right and its what you want. if you know the truth of how you feel and you love her. because anyone can be with someone a long time.. and dont even love eachother. but just being in a healthy, friendly relashionship for such a long time. Make sure its who you want to be with for the rest of your life. and another thing.. How old are you.. alot of times.., at a certain age, you arent ready. but it seems you are if you are thinking about it. the first step this girl to you seems the kind of girl you want as your wife. or you wouldnt have it even come through your mind. it looks like your dout is in the 3 yrs.., and your heart is at 2 1/2 yrs. Fellow your heart. others opinons may side track you.., and its your feelings not anyone elses. Dont ask that online.., Ask that within your self.

Let me tell you something short sweet and to the point. My girlfriend and I have been together for 2 years and she is incredibly impatient when it comes to marriage. My advide bro, propose to her ASAP (or as soon as you are ready). The sooner the better at this stage.

Interesting.... there are no credits for waiting for 3 yrs....nor does it increase the probability of getting a YES, all else being same..

I think if your ready u should, but how old are u because if u get married 2 young it might not work out as you planned it 2

Well being in the army you never know what will happen and what if tommorow something happens to her you will have whised you did it soon. So jump for the moment and propose to her.

If you're ready, go for it! By two and a half years, you should be familiar enough with each other and seen each other at your best and worst. I'm sure she would be thrilled.

what difference would a half a year make ? you love her
and i am assuming she loves you..... what are you waiting for ? ask the girl! i waited for my husband to ask me 6 times to marry him (over the course of two years) we were married in 1999 he was killed in 2002 just two weeks from our 4year anniversary!!!! i wasted presious time dont make the same mistake, ask her!
