whenever I make guacamole I put some in a tupperware to save for the next day. When I open the dish the next day there is a brown layer on top. Is that now rotten guacamole or is it still edible?

I don't think it would hurt to eat a bit of it, but I mean it's still kinda gross looking. Another tip though, put the actual avocado seed (if available) in the bowl before you put it in the fridge it helps it stay a day or so longer.

it's still edible. you should squirt a little lemon juice on it right before you store it for the night.

It is still good if you keep the pit and put it in the bowl too it will stop it from turning.

lemon juice will help keep it from turning brown, or put the seed in it

you need to leave the seed in it and it will not go brown
