I met some really amazing women from church. Seriously. It's like they go there every week to make their peace for the previous 6 days.
My problem is I can't stand the hypocrisy of organized religion so I don't go any more. But best of luck to you.

Hi Joe,
Yes I think church is a very appropriate place to ask someone out. If they are in church with you then you have worship and GOD in common. Of course you can't go wrong with starting a friendship with GOD and chuch as the very place the friendship started. I say go for it. Ask and hope it all works out for you.
