I think I am in love but, what are the signs of love?

The signs of love are different, depending on the relationship. The love one feels for a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse is different from love for a parent or sibling/cousin, and that in turn is also different from the love for one's own child. And then we have love for our pets, which is yet another type. There's even the love for a best friend.
Personally, I have experienced ALL of these love types, except for the child one (I have no kids), and I can say that while they're all very different emotionally, they are all powerful in their own ways, and all are very fulfilling. :)

I am in love. I have been with my boyfriend for 4 1/2 years. I am 21 now and started dating him when I was 16 turning 17. I knew I was in love with him but didn't know if the way I was feeling was how your suppose to feel. I know now that it was love and that i am in love. Love is when you still get butterflys every time you see him. When you know you don't want to be with out him and you feel so comfortable. He's also my best friend. I can talk to him and i tell him everything and he never holds anything agaisnt me. It's just the best feeling.

Love is many things. Love is some sort of chemistry between a male and a female that can't be explained. And it isn't just about being sexually attracted to that person. It is enjoying conversation with them. Things are better when you are around him. The laughter is deeper, the joy is higher, the good times are better and the bad times makes you guys hang on together tightly, supporting each other. one of the biggest components of love is that the other person does and says things that make us feel good about ourselves You feel like there isn't another person on the planet who can make you feel good about ourselves .we feel the magic which
The person makes our lives enriched. When we see them across the crowded room your heart pounds out your chest.
You miss the person like crazy if you don't see him for a stretch of time. You are sure that you want to live forever with this person, grow old together, face lifes ups and downs together.
Immature love is--- you are unable to function when that person is gone for any period of time. You depend on this person to solve all of your problems, yet sometimes it feels they are the souce of your problems. You cling to the person at a party becasue of your own insecurity. You don't let them have alone time, or time with friends. You get insecure if that person talks to someone else. You cry and worry if they give you less attention than you think you should get. You withhold parts of yourself to punish him. You feel like you will die if you lose him. You have your own expectations of what this love should be like and if your love fails you then you are destroyed emotionally. One of you turns into a control freek and the relationship depends on some very dysfunctional behavior. This is not Love.

love is an abused word that has no meaning anymore because it is so mutilated by so many people every single day. It used to mean alot but people are so easily consumed by the thought of it that they dont really know what it is. If you truly have to ask this question then i doubt you are in-love. Although i have been where you are now and i never really came up with a conclusion...sorry if i didnt help...who knows!?

Regarding the signs of love, usually the heart becomes the ruler, instead of the brain!

There is no true signs to what love is. That is something you just know. Do u know that you want to be with this person for the rest of your life? Are you willing to be equal to them? Look into your heart and ask, "Do I love Him?"

goshh can't you try with easy questions like why we come to earth whats or missin if is there one, and stuff like that before getting to to hard stuff like what love is???
bet sooo sooo few persons will have the "real" answer to that as a emotion lofe is to personal but share some signs with all persons, personally i think love is that feeling you have that like when youre not with that person any similar smell or similar person bring you inmediatly a remember of your beloved, the feeling taht when youre with him like nothing else matter, according to freud the love youre mentioning is the worst for sociaty cause make the beloved persons to think they only need your half soul and forget about tehrest of society so that kinda gives you a idea huh;)

love is something that can not be described in words nor in a book for that matter just remember if u r happy and he keeps u smiling thats a major part of being in love your happiness when there is no way to describe how u feel then u can pretty much say ur in love ...... just remember no guy is worth ur tears but the one that is worth it wont make u cry!

by way of fact human beings have genuine, actual procedures of expressing that love. whether in elementary words, or problematic gestures like going out of their thank you to do some thing for you, it quite is a few thing genuine and tangible. i can't experience something from "God". In what procedures does he convey his love? Does he supply me a hug, or call/textual content fabric me just to be certain how i'm doing, or deliver me some thing that made him think of of me? No, he hasn't. supply me information in any different case

Love is wanting someone even though they've done u wrong and love is always thinking of that person when their away and you'll no when you find love cuz it hurts
