Hypertension aka the silent killer may go undetected for years. The most common symptom is a headache or a feeling like your heart is pounding in your eye sockets. If untreated, it could lead to a stroke. Some stroke victims are prisoners in their own bodies. Their speech is slurred, some can't talk at all. Usually half of the body is paralyzed, and once you have one stroke, your more likely to have a second that could affect the other side. Monitor your blood pressure regularly!

Hypertension is a silent disease. There are no real signs of it. There are days that you are going to see veinous expansion and this has nothing to do with hypertension. Remember that veins are on the return side of the circulatory system and hypertension is on the output side. With the other things that you describe, I would say that you have sleep apnea.

Hypertension may have no obvious symptoms and the only way of detecting it may be checking the blood pressure.
Then there are some people who can feel when their BP is high, because it's identical to the feeling they get when they drink a strong coffee.

NONE, or so very minor that you wouldn't notice them. Hypertension is called the "silent killer" for a good reason. That's why it is important to get your blood pressure checked regularly. Many drug stores have a machine, that you can use for free, to have your blood pressure checked. I bought my own battery powered, self inflating blood pressure kit for about $50 at Walmart a few years ago. All I need to do is put it on and press the start button. It will determine my blood pressure and pulse rate automatically.

headaches, dizziness, change in vision. if you feel you have hypertension, go to your local pharmacy most of which have blood pressure machines-a few times a week and keep a log of your blood pressure. if you notice them high, go see a doctor.
