Question

Two mothers and two daughters go to a pet store and buy three cats. Each female gets her own cat. How is this possible?

two mothers who are friends and two daughters (siamese twins) went to the pet store. Two of the mothers bought two each and the siamese twins bought 1. So all of them get one each.

Its a grandmother her daughter and the grandmothers granddaughter.

Grandmother = 1 mother
Mother = 1 mother (and 1 daughter)
granddaughter = 1 daughter
