Making gin martinis tonight, where do I buy vermouth? Liquor stores in Virginia at the moment don't sell wines, can I get it at Kroger or something?

Skip the dry vermouth; instead buy some scotch. After chilling your Martini glasses, drop one or two drops of scotch into the Martini glass and quickly rim the glass and pour out the excess scotch. Afterwards pour your gin. The recipe is called a "Dusty" and can be used both with Vodka or Gin. The scotch makes all Martinies much dryer and smother. Trust me it taste much better than what it sounds like. Test it out!

vermouth has a bit of alchohol in it so buy it at the liquor store with your vodka or gin. if they do not have it, search among mixers in your grocery stores and you should find it / they do make some with no alchohol...

Vermouth is correctly a wine product but in most states it is sold in the state liquor stores. in virginia the ABC stores do sell it see web site below;

You may be able to get it at Krogers. I am surprised the Liquor Store doesn't sell it.
