doubt that NOW??? "THOUSANDS of mexicans living in the U.S., traveled by train, bus and car, to mexican border cities to vote"in mexico's presidential elections."We want to vote so mexico can improve and offer jobs to people here ( in the U.S.), because even though we're far away, our HEART is still with our homeland".
This statement just goes to PROVE what we've said all along!! Mexicans come to USE this country, and NOT to assimilate!!!

The American government needs to know that the U.S. public will not stand for a mass of foreign nationals to reside within our country without undisputable proof of legal entry. If they choose to do so they must face the harshest penalty possible under revised U.S. immigration law.
Let them follow their hearts, or let them become legal. the choices are clear.
You are either a Mexican national or an American. Why is that so difficult to understand?

Finding news stories to continue stressing yourself out is not going to change anything but your heart rate.
Your statement proves nothing in mainstream America. No one here legally or illegally from anywhere is expected to give up their cultural belief system. They are expected to gradually adopt the prevailing USA customs and attitudes including learning English. Understanding and acceptance of people's cultural differences is what makes us the nation we are. It's called legal freedom to be, you and me.
Until our government decides to end this flow of immigrants from Mexico, the score will not change. This is turning into a parallel crisis much like the Albanians and Macedonians. Yet, all must co-exist until the powers that be quit the partisan politics and get a move on.

Yes, the Mexicans that went to the border were exercising their right to vote, a vote of hope for something better for their loved ones they left behind, a vote that means someday -it takes decades to change a corrupting system- their country can offer them jobs, better paying jobs, so they don't have to humiliate themselves in doing cheap labor and being treated as if they don't deserve anything else but "civilized slavery" offered to them by American businesses. Yes, they are illegals, but this situation was brought on by their cruel leaders who dominated them for 70 years with no options of freedom of speech, kept them uneducated so they could keep them oppressed, exploit their labor for the new markets of foreign investors. You can assimilate if you leave your country with joy but most of them leave because hunger is "cabron"! Loyalty involves emotions, its not a question of kissing someones tushy just because they gave you a below minimum wage and demands you to assimilate. We are talking here about human behavior that might be a topic too complicated for your comprehension.

I get it. What you are saying has nothing to do with race (as the person saying that you are going all Hitler would suggest) When my Great-grandmother came here from Ireland she would have knocked you on your butt if you called her Irish. . .She was an American and proud to be so. These people going back to Mexico to vote should stay there. There is no in between either you are an American or you are not. You presented you point very well and I agree whole-heartedly.

It's worse than that. There is a growing trend for them to claim that this is their country and we are the foreigners. They out breed us and they surround us in the southwest. Although I know some good Mexican Americans that belong here, I am concerned with this growing trend of displacing and using us. I think they get away with it because the rich people like to employ them below minimum wage. However, I still think we should both deal with them AND raise the minimum wage for American workers.

"Of the estimated 4.2 million eligible Mexican voters living abroad, only about 41,000, or 1 percent, requested absentee ballots."
Correction: This statement just goes to DISPROVE what you've said all along! 1% of Mexicans come here to USE this country, and not assimilate!!!

What people fell to see is that United States have a history of abuse to rights but it took (us) the people who felt something was wrong in our nation to do something about it, we did not just pack our bags and leave. And to say people in the United States are racist because we want to enforce the law is BULL S@@@.
They do come to our nation just for the benefits being that it is for jobs or any other gain. To say that they have to give up their culture is wrong but to not show respect for the people of the nation they are in is just what their government is doing to them.
Its the something for nothing that has me so mad with the illegals, so many immigrants are waiting on citizenship to the U.S and will continue to wait because they are Trying to do it the legal way. Its not the fact that it takes so long to be a citizen, its that we have so many illegal immigrant here the government has to try to even out the traffic in the nation. Then we have so many illegals sending money back home to their nation, but the cost of taxes and hospital government support is going up, or being closed with no incoming money. So were do they want to be in their country or ours, it more on they want the money in ours but want to stay a known in theirs. Most illegal will not give up their legal status in Mexico.

You are right, Seals. I see we have the usual stupidity from the "one syllable criminal crowd" don't we?
Mexicans come to take everything they can away from us, sort of like a swarm of locusts that come and eat away at everything good and leave. They have no desire to be Americans, they just want America. They should follow their heart back to their country, it's not like we want them here anyway. I think that their heart and their a-- should be in the same place!

Right on! You've told it like it is. Our country has always welcomed immigrants and those who have come for a better life consider it their home and show their loyalty to the U.S. People need to wake up here and realize what is really happening...Thank you for putting it in such a simple way that may get people thinking...

the reason many did not go and vote it would require going back into Mexico to sign up and then they would have to sneak back across the border which is not as easy as it use to be. If everyone was free to come and go more folks would of voted
