I have an '84 Peidmont trailer with a cracked (plastic) tub. The tub is 54 inches long and the bathroom is 54 inches wide. A 54 inch tub from Home Depot will not work becouse it has a solid face to it. When you spin it in the small bathroom the diaganal messurement is greater than 54 inches.

Try looking up Premier Baths and showers. They are adjustable and very high quality. It doesn't sound like you would need much adjustment. The standard length on those are 51". The width you can get different. You can use a curtain and shower, or sit on the seat and have a Jacuzzi bath. I also just put in shower and tub units for a search and found another company, not so expensive, but can't find where I wrote down the name. You can do that search too It started with a D. I found a plastic tub at Lowe's. It is a lot deeper than my old one. Don't know about the length, but my mobile home was made in 1971 and this one fit perfectly and is a really nice looking one.

Boys that age love cars and trucks while girls love princesses. Make sure it is bright and colorful and the pictures/objects are big enough that they can see them easily but can't reach up and pull them off (I lost a few mobiles that way until I learned to hang them higher).
