I have been with my man for 2 years and he still holds back his feelings. Every now and then he gives in and totally blows me away with his I Love You's and This is what i want forever, but the rest of the time, he is very quiet and expects me to know what he is thinking, Is he just scared?

males aren't very into their emotions like females are. we can let our feelings out and really become emotional, but males were created to be more.. manly? i guess that will work.

Open up with your boyfriend.. sometimes saying "I love you" or some things that lovers do, is not enough to make a relationship lasts.. if you want it forever.
Open communication with him is the best way to make your relationship lasts. There's nothing wrong with it.. Because.. it's been two years honey...

Its hard for some guys to express themselves. We are taught to hide our feelings and not show emotion because men are supposed to be "strong."

in a relationship, the guy/girl doesn't ALWAYS have to show or tell you that they love you. you should know by what he/she does for you. You can't expect him/her to always shower you with i love yous and stuff.

Guys are pretty open with their feeling, in general. When you ask "What are you thinking?" and they say "nothing". That's what their thinking.
