Why does she wear so much make-up?

I work with a girl who wears so much blue eye shadow that people have started referring to her as "the clown" behind her back. Why would a girl want to wear a ton of eye make-up? Is that supposed to look good?

I think that when women do that they just don't realize how bad it looks. It's always easier to look at others and decide what looks wrong than it is to do that with ourselves.

I hate blue eyeshadow! It really does make a girl look like she is a clown! I wear natural colored eye shadow, if any. Some people just think that they look better with totally UNnatural-colored eyelids. Someone should tell them the truth... :(

Maybe she believes she does look good. Or maybe she thinks she is ugly and has to do whatever is possible to hide herself. Or perhaps nobody has ever taught her the proper way to wear make up.

Perhaps the children in the office would be better off looking at their own shortcomings than picking on her. My mother used to say "When you finish scrubbing your own doorstep you can come and criticize mine."

Most girls wear a lot of make-up because they either don't know how to put it on or for some reason they think it looks really good in it.

if you are annoyed about it, you should go up to her and tell her you don't need so much make-up, you're fine without it. most people who wear a lot of make-up want to look good and want people to tell them they look good.

No it looks crappy. Some people use it as an actual mask. Also, some people can't tell what they look like to others. Maybe another girl you work with could give her tips?

she's probably just too self conscious and she's gotten into da habit where she think its helps her eyes look better, which instead it doesn't. and she doesn't notice it. i mean u'd think she does, but inside she doesnt, its more like "hiding". kinda sad dat everyone talks bout her, maybe her close frens should tell her somethin..like.."lose it' lol. either dat, or she's da type dat likes to be diff n doesn't care wat nobody says..............but i agree wid u, some girlz just got too much make up.. =X
