hi my dad had a kidney removed in novmber because there was a lump on it he he then wentback to the hospital that specilises in cancer to have another test and they found white dots on his other kidney and lung but he also only has 1 lung is this a sighn that he may have cancer hes not worried about it but i am

i think your dad IS worried about his health, but he is just trying to mask it so that he does not worry anybody else. of course, if you were in his place, you'd do the same. the last thing you want is for other people worrying over you.

if the doctor suspects that he has cancer then they would have tested that kidney that was removed last november. however i don't see any correlation between cancer in the kidneys and lung cancer -- it CAN happen, but very rarely.

right now what your dad needs is support... encourage him to take care of himself and get tested to prevent further problems.

You should talk to your dad and tell him that you'd like some honest answers. Tell him your concerns. Or you can talk to another adult if that will help. Good luck, dear.
