It sounds to me (although untrained) that you have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. (my husand has that paired with Bipolar) You can't help obsessing and then you get depressed because you can't free your mind of thoughts. (it's scary, I know)
My husband started on Wellbutrin XL300 and it was a miracle! HIs suicide attempts stopped and he recognizes moods now.(he's still a pain in the a-- but he's not obsessing!)

To me it sounds like you have a form of Obsessive Compulive Disorder, something that will not go away on its own. You need to go and get help. IMMEDIATELY. It could be many other things as well with the OCD thing just being the symptom. GET HELP! A computer can't do it for you.

It could be that your behaviour has its roots in low blood sugar - something that happens to everybody every day, but for some it can hang around.

I had low blood sugar and am now a diabetic. Somewhere on my body is a place I am keeping scratched until it is bleeding. My self-esteem (why you are worried about people liking you) used to be lower than it is now. Mood swings, and fear of getting fired were common. Then I found out I had low blood sugar. Keeping my blood sugar level became my goal, and learning about the condition helped very much. Now I know my behaviours and moods were not "me" but were "my body".

you have a social anxiety disorder with depression..sounds like to me.causes unreasonable, debilitating fear of being judged or publicly humiliated. You may avoid or severely limit encounters with other people—which can keep you from daily activities. You may develop physical symptoms such as a rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, or tightness in your chest when faced with a feared social situation..People with social anxiety disorder often underachieve at work or at school to avoid the attention of a promotion or to avoid being forced to participate in a group. They tend to have few friendships and have trouble dating or developing relationships. In prolonged or severe cases, many people develop other psychological conditions (such as depression or substance abuse).you need to see a doctor....
