Protestants use a bible with 66 books. Yet Catholics have 46, the Eastern orthodox have 43,then there are the Ethiopian Coptics, the Mormons and their book, the Jehovahs witnesses, etc.
Furthermore at 2Esdras 14 a total of 94 books were revealed. 24 for the general public and 70 for the elect.
look on the bible gateway and see dozens of different bibles.
Likewise, since a bible was not complied until 324ad by Eusebius( a super antisemite), is it not far more probable that instead of being "Gods book" it is really ,in fact, just the result of the vote of men.
Inspired you say? So all these INSPIRED guys went right out and began persecuting jews, seizing their temples and forbidding their religious practice? Some merciful God that Jesus!

Many scholars believe that the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is the best English translation available today.

However, the exact and true Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek rather than English. Also, the original manuscripts have not been located or have not survived to this day. It is impossible to be 100% sure that any bible today is exactly "true".

However, the bible certainly contains God's thoughts.

It is true, that all the source material we have, for all the different Bibles, was written well after the events they talk about. It is true, that the books of the Bible were not written by the MEN that they are named after. It is true, that none of the authors, of the material in the Bible were eye whiteness to the events they write about. It is true, that both the Old and New Testaments have more mistakes, changes, contradiction's than there are words in The Bible. It is true, that The Bible was written by superstitious, unsophisticated middle eastern people between 2-4000 years or so ago. It is also true, if you read this fantasy, with an open mind and still think that the God described therein is loving, kind, benevolent, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient; do I have some more reading material for you. The Arabian Nights might do as a start, or The Brothers Grimm.

The difference between the Catholic and the Protestant Bible is the Apcrypha. As far a these other books you mentioned, The Mormons and the Ethiopian Coptics, I don't know if they are considered Bibles.

The Mormons call their Book "The book of the Mormon". They don't call it the Bible. They do this because they also use the Bible.

I have never heard of the Ethiopian Coptics or the other books mentioned. So I can not comment on these.

Well to start with you ask the question which bible is true? That is a relative question. It depends I guess on your religious belief. In the body of your dissertation you stated that there were 46 books to the Catholic bible. This is not true. Also the Easter Orthodox or Easter rite catholic and the roman rite catholic have 72 books. There are 26 books in the old testament and 46 in the new. We do not have bibles that are contemporary that date back to 300 ad, the modern bible first started it popularity with (the first printed) the Gutenberg bible which had 72 books. It wasn't until later with the schism of England that books of the bible were dropped with the King James version.

I totally agree with you. The Bibles are just collections of books written by men with good intentions, who thought they were doing the right thing. Interestingly enough, nowhere in the Bible is it commanded that someone should put together a Bible! Nowhere does it say that God decided to quit inspiring people to write. The more you study the Bible, the more you realize it can't possibly be all true. That's why Christianity always flourishes among the poor and ignorant, while fundamental beliefs wither away among intellectuals.

I'm not saying anything like "convert to Islam or i'll blow u up," but the Quran has stayed the same forever, and Muhammad said to the disbelievers that the Quran was his miracle when they asked him to show one because Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses) had miracles. We believe the torah and Injeel (bible) were holy books @ first, but they got changed in translations and stuff like that so much, that the meaning changed. But the Arabic of the Quran hasn't changed. U can even check in images. just look up Uthman's Quran surah fatiha and compare it 2 when u type in Quran surah fatiha, or just compare 2 different modern Qurans. O and btw the little lines in the plain modern Quran don't change the meaning or anything, they R just the vowels. It's so the ppl reading it don't say the words wrong and change the meaning.

THE TRUTH IS IN THE HOLY BIBLE,KING JAMES VERSION.IT
IS GODS WORD,THE REST IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO LEARN THE TRUTH,NOT MEN'S TRUTH BUT THE TRUTH OF GOD,WHICH IS IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.1Tm:1:3: As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
1Tm:1:4: Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
1Tm:1:5: Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
1Tm:1:6: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
1Tm:1:7: Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
IT IS SPIRITUAL,BELIEVE AND IT SHALL BE DONE. PEACE

Perhaps the one that Constantine "condoned" ...afterall he convened the Council of Nice in 550 AD... that began "canonizing" what would be Bible and what would later be deemed "heretical" or "anathema"....
Born a Frank ... Constantine had all inhabitants of a city decapitated once he captured it ... After a conversion experience and a vision of a cross where he heard a voice telling him ,"to go forth and conquer for me" ... To him we owe, what would eventually become accepted Christian Bible ... The divine right of kings age insued ...and great bloodshed ...
