You can get an order of protection but she has to face it, if he beats her while she pregnant then he don't care for her at all. I hopes she doesn't want any part of his happenings and I would recommend she get an order of protection and take him to court for full custody. Without having full custody she would n't be able to stop him from seeing the baby. In fact get his rights terminated.{ that's what it's called} If she has full custody it's up to her to let the baby see him. If he violates well you know the outcome, and I pretty sure he does too.

It doesn't sound like a safe situation for all involved. A restraining order only does so much..so be extremely careful. I say once an abuser..always an abuser. Make sure that you have documentation of the assaults, copies of all police reports, pictures..if you decide to file this information could be useful. Having a picture of him might come in handy, addresses (home work, friends), phone numbers where he can be reached might be needed. A restraining order is only paper, so be careful. Counseling might be helpful for your friend to help her cope with the situation of the abuse, and the new stress of having a baby. Understand that is her choice to leave the situation. Being a good friend means standing beside her..not in front of her. You can only protect her so much. You can be beside her for support.

Yes, get a restraining order at the very least. She should go to a "safe house" so this guy won't know where she is. Try looking up Domestic abuse in your phone book. Hurry! Or even check with your local hospital.

What a jerk! Do everything you can to keep him away, get a restraining order against him coming near her, and by all means don't let him see the baby, at least until he;s been to counseling and there's some guarantee he can't hurt either of them. Her health and the child's safety are at risk.

I would be getting a good lawyer.Have him sign all his right over so you will never have to deal with him again..Calling the police and put a report on him. It will be hard to get a restraining order when the police haven't been involved.

If he beats her she needs to KILL HIM. NO really get orders agains him. Press charges, do what ever it is that she can do to keep hm away cause he will not only beat on her but will also beat on that baby. And if she is with him she will get charged to if ne thing happens to that baby. Be care!! Dont go out alone and always have something to protect your self with.

Get your friend to a women's shelter, NOW. The two of you can't handle this alone. The people at the shelter will know exactly what to do and how to do it. It's nice that you want to help your friend, but you can't take this into your own hands and win. As long as he knows where she is no one is safe.

yes he need to take anger management class before she should let him even be involved with the baby. and be careful cause if he don't care about the mother of his child enough to keep his hands off of her then he could possibly hurt you too. she needs to get help to find out why she is accepting his abuse. a man is supposed to love a women not hurt.

Absolutley get a restraining order. And have him arrested for battery, and possibly for endangering a child, anything to get him away from her.
