In a small skillet, butter saute thin sliced onions and one can of sliced mushrooms. Set aside. In a mid size saucepan, dissolve two beef bullion cubes in 3 cups of water. Place in one can of drained green beans and add the sauted onions and mushrooms.
Heat well. Afterwards, remove saucepan from heat and serve with mashed potatoes and/or slices of well done beef roast. Garnish with a dab of dijon mustard on the side (trust me on this one).
Call this recipe idea what you'd like. Bon appetit.

Make your own broth by using 4 oz to one pound of stew meat.
Use a scissors and cut off most of the fat. Then cut the meat into bite size pieces. Brown this meat in the stainless steel soup pan that you will use for this recipe. Medium heat. Sprinkle cooking meat with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Don't be stingey. Continue cooking until meat loses almost all the red.
Chop one onion about fist size into slices and then dice to whatever size you want. Drop into cooking meat. Cover pan with lid and let cook until onion is starting to turn transparrent.
At this point, wash and snap ends off the green beans (fresh).
Snap beans to size you want. You can use frozen, but let thaw and rinse before using.
Now add water and green beans. Distilled water makes the flavors in this dish stand out. Use enough water to cover beans.
Bring to very slight boil until beans are almost cooked. For thicker broth, take lid off pot and allow liquid to boil off. Do not turn up heat. For soupy, cook another 5 to 10 minutes.
Garnish with croutons, bread crumbs, or just enjoy.

A soup? Throw it all in together... or caramelize the onions first in a pan and make kind of a french onion soup.
You can add more veggies or chunks of meat too.
