Anybody who was an Aircraft Mechanic in the Navy?

I wanna know if it's a cool job and if u are now working as an Aircraft Mechanic in the civilian world?

Did that training help you for your career as an Aircraft Mech?

I can tell you that I hired a former Navy helicopter mechanic. We trained him for building and maintaining networks. I believe the Navy experienced helped his problem solving capabilities. Hope that helps.

My husband was an aircraft mechanic in another branch of the service. It was great training. He worked at it in civilian life for 12 years.
