you can only ask so many questions a day, depending on what level/how many points you have.
the higher the level, the more questions you can ask in a day.

Probably has something to do with the fact that you are a level 1 user with only a few hundred points. you have to level up like an rpg to be able to ask & answer more questions. check your answer profile for the rules.
Those points you have are for a reason newbie.

It's Yahoo's way of getting you to answer more questions. The more questions you answer, the more points you accumulate, and the more points you get, the higher the level you attain. The higher the leve, the more questions you can ask! - It's a vicious circle!

You can only ask a certain limit per day so you do not flood the system with stupid questions just for the fun of it.
