Back in the 1980 when the dvd just came out it did not include an eject button. For some reason sales went up as soon as people started complaining and they came out with a new version of the dvd player w/ an eject button on the controller.

LOL! I wonder the same thing. What's even worse is that my husband actually USES the eject button on the DVD remote! Then he usually tells ME to go get the DVD lol. I guess maybe they put it there in case the button on the DVD player itself breaks? But then they usually have an emergency release on the bottom that you can slide something in to make it come out. So I don't know really.

Instant gratification.

You can hit the eject button while sitting, there fore when you actually approach the DVD player, you have no more to do, you need only pick out the DVD, you may then return to your sitting position and push the button again to close it.

All i am going to imagine of is this, the machines have a tendency to get warm once they have been on for awhile and been operating. So by ejecting them facilitates the gadget to cool down by circulating air in fringe of them. i comprehend this is real with tapes , also with tapes it take the tape out of the tape course mood, it really is the position the tape wraps around the heads by a series of pulleys and stuff and also shall we the gadget cool off.

Yea we need to get ahold of the companies and tell them that the dvd should shoot out across the room like a frisbee so we can catch it and put it in the case. But then how do we get the new dvd put in....hmmmmmm

The companies know how to remotely control the ejection of dvd, but donno how to configure its machine to change from the shelves. The button is there for a purpose, not now, but in the future.

This is the best religious question I have seen yet. Gets right to the point, Explains a real problem and asks for the real solution. I don't think that there is any religion that argue this question.

Great.
