I would like others to see this site. It uses the Christian bible to debunk God. I say what about the other bibles? You cannot throw out the entire lot of religions based on you debunking a single book. I welcome all comers to post and discus this be they Christian, Agnostic, Atheist, or any other religion or faith structure. If you are planning to debunk god, you must use every holy book in your proof. If you cannot fully prove or disprove something it remains to be in the minds of each individuals beleifs or faiths. I simply ask everyone be they fully Christian, fully atheist, somewhere in the middle or just plain confused and undecided. Do your research prior to basing you life on something. I welcome all comments and even e-mails should you want to contact me.

Proverbs2-2: If you are strong in faith nothing shall shake it. Only the weak are tempted.

This is said in your Christian bible is it not?

Many interesting comments so far, as for bible girl, you said you studied many translations of the bible, but what of the quaran, the torah, budhists text, hindu text, inca creadtion and destruction legends, egyption legends. They are all from God, are they not nad you refuse them all because why?

Research is the greatest tool on earth, and if anyone wants proof of god and is open minded can sence god here on earth in everything, anyone who has studied advanced martialarts know there is something greater than us all out there.

To be fair, I did review it, although I can't repsond to all of them in this space.

I think that some of the points were well thought out, but many of them were arguing against Christianity and prayer, and not specifically against the existance of God. In all honesty, there are probably better websites to cite when expressing this opinion, because there are a lot of flaws in the arguments presented, which is even apparent to the authors themselves, who often state something like "does this prove God doesn't exist? No, but it debunks what Christians claim to be proof..."

I read through many of them, and did not find anything that was logical or compelling. I am open-minded about this, but I think I would search for a new site that has fewer logical fallacies. One that is based more on scientific research rather than someone's opinion might be better. The person who authored this site does not appear to even have a college education (based on the assumption they would know about communication and logical fallacies, not based on their opinion about God.) If you can find one that is more scientific in nature, or perhaps has a collection of quotations from scientists, I think that would better argue your point. I'm willing to keep an open mind, but I think you can offer more than this.

Science has neither proven nor disproven the existance of God. As a Baha'i, I believe it someday will.

Best wishes.

you can't prove there's not a god. and you can't do it from the Bible. Every book in the entire Bible was written down long after the events actually occured. So, who knows what actually happened? For all we know, the events could have actually been MORE SPECTACULAR than the Bible portrays them to be. Or less. We weren't there. And neither were the people who put it to paper. Anyway, its impossible to debunk God with the Bible because it wasn't written when these events occured. So the whole website has to be full of crap. Granted, I haven't looked at it. I don't care that much. I personally think it doesn't matter. I'm not going to church even if Jesus shows up at my front door.

Christianity, let me say first, that when people come out with movies that spin the Bible
out of context they are being a false prophet.
Christianity is in us because we accept Jesus Christ into our lives and when we do that we have the Holy Spirit that guides us away from sin.
When you are saved, you will know because you'll be a new person.
Also The Bible is the truth, we can study, which I have, many different meanings of the Bible but it has to be based on fact, The Bible is written in many parabyls to make us think, NOT, just read but, STOP AND THINK, STUDY.AND TAKE IT IN.
THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY TRUE AUTHINIC BOOK WE HAVE THAT HAS BEEN PROOVEN OVER AND OVER THROUGH ARCHEOLOGIC FACTS, TEXTS, AND PLACES.

What other bibles? the bible is a name for a specific book, there are no other bibles, just other, older or younger versions of the same book.
The catch with this website is that they don't explain belief. Even though some of us believe that more than half what is written in the religious texts of most religions is bunk, we still believe in God, and that Jesus wae either the son of God or a great prophet depending on the religion we follow. Ignore it, just likethose who do not believe, ignore religion.

Sean makes an excellent point, your first answer. it's asked here all the time. You'll find some of us believe no matter what, and will use proof, reasoning, feeling, and cliche to express our conviction. And your going to have those who share your exact sentiment. I personally have lived as a christian for 26 years. i'm only 31 but i have researched many of the worlds major religions. I have researched the history of my own faith. And my belief remains in Christ, the Jesus Christ of the Bible. He's proven Himself to me and thats all i need.

Interesting site, but ultimately self-defeating. You're never going to convince someone that god doesn't exist unless they know one simple truth. You don't have to disprove god. I don't have to disprove god to know he doesn't exist anymore than a person has to disprove unicorns to know they don't exist. You can't gather "proof" from something that doesn't exist, anyway, it doesn't leave any behind, so the notion of disproving god is ludicrous. The position of any sane person should be that something with no evidence *for* it, when there certainly should be mounds of it, does not exist. I'm just as likely to start believing in unicorns (which, by the way, you can't really disprove either, in fact you can't disprove *anything* that doesn't exist) as I am to start believing in god.

Research will not get you to Heaven. Faith in Jesus Christ will. Why read a website that will only try to plant doubts in your head. That site is just another tool of Satan to mislead others. Don't research, just read God's Holy Word and live by it.

Proverbs 2:2 in the King James Version Holy Bible actually says:

"So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom and apply thine heart to understanding."

You don't actually think any Christians will believe this. I was an Atheist but switched to Christianity somewhere in 2000 because God is there.
