If you're serious, the best kit available is Rossetta Stone, though it's veeeery expensive: about $190 US. For a cheaper alternative, I use the British "Teach Yourself" book/CD kits available for about $18. And always try to talk to people, talk to yourself, listen to Korean music and watch Korean TV.

hello
watching korean drama or game show is one of the best way to learn korean... and having korean (esp. fobbish) friend is another way.
and you might even want to try talking to them about it..
1) go to youtube.com
2) and search for goong (translated: palace)/ x man (game show, where you try to find who made mistake throughout the game purposly)/ super junior full house (reality show of these korean singers having two foreign girls home-staying and guiding them, there are a lot of games you can try with your friend)
3) (*if you can't understand fully, you should try sub-titled ones)
