Blonde. Now I say this without seeing you, so it all depends because different people look good with different shades of hair color. I only said blonde because black is a PAIN to get out. Virtually impossible. You have to strip your hair to get it out, then dye your hair again back to your natural hair color. Blonde, you could just dye it over with your natural hair colored dye.
Now I dyed my hair about 2 and 1/2-3 years ago, and I JUST cut the last of it out off my ends two days ago. I knew what I was getting myself into with not being able to wash it out, but I definitely didn't think it would take that long! So maybe even go for a darker brown instead of black if you're thinking about going darker. Just be careful with it!

you should get some highlights bc if you try to dye it blonde it will not be the color you want and going black is just a no no if its not natural...my hair was brown and i put highlights all over my hair and it turned the blonde i wanted and if you hair turns yellow or red go to a beauty store and they will have some special shampoo for that

If your normal color is brown, why not go with streaks? You can get blonde or really dark brown streaks, and it looks great. I have brown hair too and I get red and gold streaks.

If you go blond, you will have to bleach it. That is going to fry your hair. If you go black, It will turn red after a few days. Why don't you just highlight it, it's much prettier and you get various shades.

Sure! Why not?? Just remember there is some upkeep involved -- i.e. special shampoos and conditioners, retouching of roots.
Also, make sure you pick a color that flatters your natural skin tone..

people look weird when they go to a completely dif color,
i suggest you leave it that color and jst put some streaks in it,
it still looks almost natural but i bet youll like it better than all fake color all dried out and dead
good luck

Whatever colour you go for, hair grows......so you will eventually be back to your normal colour. Ask a friend that you can trust!
