My wife keeps recommending that I see her eye doctor, Doctor Jansen, located at Oltorf and Congress. But his website only says he's an Optometrist, and I'm not sure if that's the same as a Opthalmalogist, or if he's also that. I guess you can call them. His website is below. And if he's not one, maybe they can recommend one. I don't know. I don't wear glasses. I prefer to squint. It makes me look tougher.

One in particular or just any one? The phone book is full of them, and they are all qualified. I needed one, looked up and called the closest to my house, and was quite satisfied with the result. Do you have a particular problem, like with glaucoma or macular degeneration? If so there are some who specialize in those areas.

BTW, it is spelled ophthalmologist. That may help you in looking one up. Also, if you do need a specialist in this or any field of medicine, you can contact the State Board of Medical Examiners (licensing board) for a list. I think you can also get that list online if you prefer not to interact with a living human.
