I am not trying to say medical experimentation, but if there is an accident, why not just have them automatically signed up, then SOME good comes out their crime of being here!

I was NOT trying to be offensive on this at all, I just thought that many illegals (since a great number are unlicensed) COULD not participate is the organ donation program, but yes I will recondisider this one, to many possible negatives

My point was a real one. with an illegal, there is usually no way to know to where nor to whom to ship the body. and why should My government be forced, through the illegal's criminal act (coming here) to absorbe this burden?
I also made a genuine point of the inability to give consent, so why not assume it?

Lastly, I put down that I will reconsider this. I an always open to the possibility of my being wrong

I believe in a fashion they are! If a body pops up and nobody knows who it is or where it's from, they keep it on ice for a while and look for a claiment, if still no takers, they can use it for medical science. That is as long as the death was not a homicide. Natural deaths only, please.
Basically it can be used as a medical cadaver. To practise on for medical students learning to be docs etc.
Kinda like that frog you cut up in High School biology. Except this body, you dont have to pith ...that is stick a pin in it's brain to kill it humanely. Ha!

Why is it a crime? They just trying to make a living. If the had signed to have have their organs remove at the event of their dead yes. Otherwise is a big no. Why? Because they happen to be people too!

No! Since their medical history would be uncertain, even blood donations would be very iffy. With Aides running rampant in many area of the world, receiving donated organs for an unknown source would not be acceptable.

another great example of american stupidity..people like you should stay quiet to not make the rest of us seem like idiots to the rest of the world...of course since they are here working illegaly they have no longer the right to decide what to do with their organs....nimrod...should ur parents be automatically signed up for organ donation if they run a stop light...some good huh?? look up how much illegal workers contribute to the production of agricultural goods...why are you so ignorant??

I agree! An opt-out as opposed to an opt-in program. I don't care who gets mine and I sure don't care who's I get if I needed something. As long as it is available why not use the medical technology we have to save as many lives as possible.

Regardless of whether they are committing a crime (they may be applying for citizenship) or not, they are still human beings who often have families back home that they are trying to provide for. How would you feel if your dad's body was violated without his or your family's consent?

Some people have religious problems with it. And, are you sure your ancestors weren't "illegals"? But, I get your point about the organ stuff. Yes, we should all do that.

Sure, let's force their families to give up their organs. I don't know what the government is waiting for.

Maybe everyone should be automatically signed up for that.
An opt-out program instead of opt-in.
