I am 14-years old and and a 12-year old little brother. Our parets are divorced. Both live in te state of Kansas. Mother does not trust me at all anymore. Both are active in the church. Mostly now just use privlage removal. Real answers only, others WILL be reported!

u want a spanking instead of what? what r these other means of punishment? i mean if they're not feeding you, or making you sleep outside or something like that, i think i'd rather take an a$$ whoopin' 2, but that would also be child abuse. so what's really going on? why would your mom just stop trusting you? u know back n da day, there was no such thing as being "too old" for a whoopin', u took a vicious beating from all elder members of your family and truss me, whatever it was that u did, u didn't do it again. maybe we should go back to the good ol' days-i need to take a time-out and think about this some more

As a parent and a grandparent, I can tell you that we will use a discipline that works the best. Every child is different. I am raising a grandson and believe it or not, sending him to his room works the best. I have spanked him to no avail but he hates being sent to his room. So that is what I use.
You really didn't give enough information to explain why your mom does not trust you, but a parent usually doesn't lose trust in a child without just cause.
As for you talking your parents out of spanking you, why are they spanking you? Is it because you are misbehaving or because they are angry at each other and taking it out on you and your brother?
If you need someone to talk to, and it sounds like you do, then go to your clergyman at church and speak to him in private. I am sure he can help sort this all out.

Why would you want to have this form of punishment? I have 5 children and for the ones that are over 9 years old spanking would just be humiliating for them.Hurting you or your little brother will not teach you anything.Punishments should teach you that your behavior is unacceptable and your punishment should fit your crime.You are 14 years old and you should be responsible for your actions.I think that maybe you think that this would just be an easy out for you and its not.

Why are you putting stuff about spanking online: Open invitiation to sick preditors. Have you never seen the Dateline NBC specials to catch a preditor. Be carefull. If I were you parent and found this out no more unsupervised internet use.
Why do you want different punishment cause the other punishment you do not like? That is why it is called punishment!!! Second spanking is very inappropriate for your age.

You and your bro are way past the age where a spanking is going to do any good besides taking away privliges and posisons or things you enjoy like the tv,phone, pc, or if you have a learners permit , bike. will hurt most of all to a teenager or preteen I should know i have 2 boys around the same age and they hate when i take away their stuff and make them read books instead or practice their math or hand writting and when they read i give them a test some of the time to make sure they read the book.
Sometime i make them fix dinner for the family and that makes them not to misbehave.

Just because they don't trust you doesn't mean they don't love you. You are too old to be spanked and all they are doing is to try and make you grow up and are instiling values that you obviously still need to learn. They want you to grow up and be able to take care of yourself.
Do more things for them to trust you. Try to be a better person and learn that life is not fair. If you do a crime, you will be punnished for it.
Get good grades, and set a good example for your brother. Life will then be easier for you.

First of all I cannot believe you at fourteen would ask a question like this! One way to let parents know to use spanking is tolet them know it is allowed. Let them know that the law does not consider it abuse if it is done for the right reasons. The law does not consider it abuse as long as you do not abuse it.
