i have known women to get pregnant that are big with no problem, but then again i heard that the heavier you are the more unfirtile you are, so even at that wieght if she got the invitro done she might end up on bed rest the whole time. if she is that heavy and is having a hard time , can you imagin how much harder it would be for her to carry that extra weight around from the pregnancy. it is best for her to loos the wieght as much as she can before she decides to do it.

I'd have to ask myself why a 300+ pound single woman wants to have a baby to begin with!
It's clear that a person with that kind of weight probably has self-esteem problems. (I know, I'm heavy myself.) She needs psychiatric help if she thinks raising a child will make her happy.
Its supposed to be the parent taking care of the child's needs, not the other way around!

she's not healthy enough to have a baby, she needs to get her poop in a group before bringing a baby into the world anyway. she obviously has issues and if she's that fat she won't be able to take care of the child and won't be around long enough to raise it anyway. she has no business doing it so i certainly hope she can't. she doesn't need to be humored, she needs a good kick in the pants that gets her going on fixing her life, she probably thinks a baby will do that but it won't. she wouldn't even be able to get up and down with it as much as she needs to, she can't give them a bath, she will feed them all the wrong things because she obviously has screwy ideas about food and she could never keep up with a toddler. in all likelihood she'll just end up with a fat unhappy, unhealthy, teased and miserable kid anyway, i hope she never figures out how to do it.

I dont think there is a certain weight..however I do think that she doiesnt need to try to have a kid because she is already unhealthy, and you cannot be so unhealthy and try to carry and nurture a child inside of you when you cant take care of yourself..she needs to get herself healthy so she can have a healthy child instead of being selfish and putting the babies life and hers at risk...

A woman's body is at it’s baby-making best when it is within 15% of her ideal weight. Many women begin experiencing problems getting pregnant when they’re less than 95% or more than 125% of that weight.

I don't think theres an certain weight that is deemed 'too fat' to concieve, instead it depends on your weight for your height - if your weight for your height range puts you into the category of 'overweight' or 'obese', then you can still convieve but your chances would be greatly improved by losing some weight.

Her problem is not that she can't have a baby at 300lbs, because if she's healthy, she can. It could be that because of her size she can't find a willing participant!
