I'm learning German and I've found songs recorded by the Beatles, Johnny Cash and Peter Gabriel in German, does anyone know of other artists that have done the same?

What about Roger Whitaker, the Canadian singer? He's older - probably in his 70s, but he recorded a lot of music in German. Mostly traditional German Christmas carols.

The song (sang by Elvis) is called Wooden Heart. The original singer's name is Joe Dowell. Beautiful song.

Nat King Cole did O Tannenbaum (O Christmas Tree). He sang it slowly and beautifully. Very easy to follow.

and don't forget David Hasselhof! He was a big pop star in Germany, although I don't think he recorded much (if anything) in the US
