Wht is it so difficult for men not to cheat?

Well, unfortunately, for most men the only thing that will stop them from cheating, is not to have the opportunity.

Sex is different for men and woman.

For a man, sex CAN be simply a physical activity. There does not have to be "deep love' or any kind of "emotional' attachment.
It is simply a physical activity that we enjoy.

Don't get me wrong, when we make love to the partner of our choice, that IS different. We are capable of having more than simply a physical connection.

But, women for the most part require an emotional element to sex. Which men do not require.

For men, there is a difference between "making love" and "sex".
Sometimes we just want sex.

I am not saying that this behaviour is right/fair or just. I'm just trying to shine some light on it.

Ironically enough, usually when a man says that having sex with that partner "ment nothing", we really mean it.

In that question, you are assuming and trying to impose the idea upon us that the whole of the male gender in general cheat but that is not true.

To determine exactly why CERTAIN men cheat then you would have to get these male chauvinists to undergo a series of case studies and psychological tests and then and only then will you come even a little bit close to discovering a factual, scientific based answer.

I would say that men generally cheat because their woman isn't keeping them happy.. Now I don't mean to come down on wives/girlfriends..but like someone else said..men are animals. So lets take that and expand...they are animals, and they are always going to want the ultimate...so considering most men cheat for sex then whatever kind of sex he's goin after should be met at home. ie..if the wife refuses to go down on him, chances are he will find someone who does... so in my opinion, the best way to make sure your man don't cheat is to be a freak....fulfill all his desires and he will have no reason to go look elsewhere.

Tell me why all the womens magazines talk about how to keep your man interested, yet all the men complain that thier wife has no interest.

Men cheat because women allow them to do so. Once he cheats cut him loose, because without a doubt, he's going to do it again. I love my wife dearly and I would die for her. I would cut off my legs so that she could walk. If my wife lost interest in sex I would try to understand why and overcome the difficulty. If my wife could no longer have sex due to a medical problem I would continue to love her with all my heart. If my wife was bedridden with disease I would devote my time to caring for her. My desire would be to comfort her and provide for her welfare for the remainder of her life. Would I cheat on her by having sex with another woman? Never. Would I even consider the possibility? I don't think so. A woman's vagina is not her heart and it is not her soul. It is not her personality. It is not the reason you should marry a woman. Anyone who would cheat on his or her spouse has no love or respect for that person. There is an abundance of men in this world who will treat their wife with the love and respect she deserves. If you are not willing to look for such a man and if you are not willing to wait until you find this type of man you deserve whomever you get. The same rationale applies to men. In closing I would like to say that your question is ignorant, offensive and without merit.
