I do not agree, because I am fairly agnostic. I subscribe to the school of thought of David Hume, that in the end, we cannot be absolutely sure of anything, even that the Sun will rise in the morning. Therefore, I cannot say that there is no God, or that there is one.

I absolutely agree. What I do not agree with is that fact that people try to tell you that, if you do not believe the way they do, you are doomed to eternal pain, or agony, or discomfort, or whatever.
I think that "god" was created as an explanation for people that had none. (Look at mythology...)
I also think that the bible was written by the only people that could read and write, the church, as a means of controlling the masses by scaring them into believing. Furthermore, if I made a big enough "stink" and claimed that I had been given "divine words" that should be added to the next draft of the "bible", after awhile, people would start believing me because they wouldn't know any better and, "If someone says it, it must be true". You may disagree, and it may not happen in my lifetime, but there are plenty in the past (i.e. Martin Luther and Lutheranism, David Koresh and Waco, Jim Jones and Jonestown) that have claimed to be some sort of messiah and they had followers. Some end up becoming published religional authors. Some believe so strongly that they commit suicide.
All three are the same. The only difference is that in today's belief systems, people are more skeptical and all of the crimes these leaders commit weren't crimes 500 or 1500 years ago.

I don't agree. I believe in the Big Bang theory but I would like to know how that mass got there in the first place. There seems to me a positive force in the universe that when applied things just have a way of working out. You can call it God or good or Howard for all I care because I'm certainly not going to shove my belief down your throat because that would working against what I believe. Now I know that is a far cry from what Pat Robertson may say but I say all the better. Because I also think that to kill anything just because it doesn't agree with me or my views would be working against what I believe. Explain infinity.

why do you think there is no god , do you think all you see feel touch, all that you are all that is was an accident . look around you ,look at all you don't know ,and all that you do know .i know all this is a wonder,.just because you may be down on some hard times, doesn't mean theirs no god. if god gave you all good all no bad ,how would you know the difference between the two. as for me , with out God i be nothing but an empty shell going no were and being just another nothing living for nothing and no reason to. i thank God for every breath i take and happy to do so. open your heart to God and you to well see the amazing world we live in and the one he wants us to live in . i could go on and on ,so I'll stop here and let God do the rest .Good luck to you in you journey.may God shine a bright light for you to see the way.and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY .ask him to show the way ,he will but you must ask from your heart not your mouth .

All I can tell you is what sayth the scriptures and they make sense to me. Psalms 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalms 19: 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. The heavens declare that there is a God believe it or not.

Ok, I'll try to make this as brief as I can. This is Kimmy's proof that god exists.
1) God is a word. The word god exists. The question is what does the word mean.
2) Words mean what most people think they mean.
3) Through history, god has always meant the unknown. As soon as science explains something, it's not god anymore.
4) We will never know everything. Therefore, god will always have meaning.
The proplem people have is they try to claim that they know something about god. How arrogant! You can't know anything about god, but god does, and will always exist.

I do not agree. I know that there is a God. He is the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. The Lord Jesus walked this earth and lived a sinless life. He is the Son of the Living God. He paid my sin debt so that I could be reconciled to the Father.

No, I don't agree, because I have a living relationship with God, which to date has lasted 37 years. If someone claims to know someone - they have to exist! I have experienced God working in my life, and have known Him to work in the lives of hundreds of other lives too. He longs to have a relationship with everyone, and everyone has a feeling of disatisfaction within themselves. Queen the famous rock singer before he died said that although he had fame, fortune and good friends, he felt so desperatly lonely. We were made to have a relationship with God, and nothing else in all the world can fill that longing, only God.

I agree, I just don't see how it's possible. There are too many holes in religion, if God made us who made God? What happened to all the people before Jesus and Christianity? They dont know about God and Jesus, do they just go to hell? Do animals go to heaven? If they do then did all the dinosaurs go to? And the trees, wouldn't that cause over crowding? If there r this many rules to get into heaven why r they're no rules to stay in heaven? how did Jonah stay alive in the big fish, didnt it have digestive organs? there are just too many things that point to god not being real, i could go on for days!

No.. Even Einstein believed there must be a God due to the complex nature of our Universe. There must be a higher power, regardless of what others think. Einstein was a smarter guy than we will probably ever meet. He has a great point..
