Personally, I don't think it is ever good to believe blindly. You must seek your own truth and believe because it speaks to you, not just because it was what you learned growing up. If it's still the same, great. If not, that's great, too. As long as you are happy and made an educated decision.
Best wishes.

Yes. Blind faith is total acceptance of something without knowledge. This is ignorance. Ignorance is bliss, total ignorance is total bliss, total bliss is ecstasy.
A more important question might be: which should be advised? The believer who just plain believes? Or the believer who wants proof before they believe? Demanding proof dictates a lack of faith and therin a lack of belief, even when proof has been made clear. Yet blind faith allows for error. For if we do not question how will we ever know what is real and not? Therefore how will we ever know in what we can believe? Yet if we question, we do not believe...

No. Blind Faith was a '70's era Super-group!
Actually - blind faith (if real) is ecstasy. For all doubts, fears and worries have been removed based on the belief that all is taken care of by a higher power and everything that then happens in your life is meant to be.

Ignorance is bliss implies, there are some things you really don't want to know the answers to. Blind Faith was a pretty good band.

As stated, it is as close as you get.
Imagine for a minute that you are unencumbered by the knowledge of your unavoidable death and the death of all your loved ones. Imagine yourself on a plane where you and your loved ones will be immortal - and a happy immortality to boot. Now, and this is the critical step, immediately cut the chord to any inner faculty that connects you to any other plane. That chord is the link to a kind of critical reasoning - and it is like an optic nerve.
You have now become like the blindest, like those who WILL not see. You will not see what troubled you, you are blissful.

A two year old is playing on the bed and says, "Daddy, catch me!" and leaps into the air. The father holds his arms out and catches her. Is it blind faith, or trust in the one she has come to know?

Yep. See Manson's women, Jonestown, David Koresh and the Branch Davidians, Heaven's Gate and all of those other cults whose followers give their personal power to another human who "claims" to know the answers to everything.
