So for ever 2000 calories that we don't eat or burn from exercise, we lose 1 pound...
a normal male should eat about 2500 calories
a normal female about 1900 to 2100...

yes they do matter a lot if your on a diet to loss weight try 1000 calories a day and no less or you will gain the weight tright back TRUSH ME!!!! so eat every 2 hours 5 to 6 times a day and do not eat more than 20 grams of fat thats really what makes us gain weight. workout 3 or more hours a day hope that helps
