also you could try pulling any ocean colors into it the taupe being the sandish color it wouldn't be like a white Sand obviously but could still be a beautiful sand color for a ocean theme or just ocean colors

I would have to agree with hrmartinez, coral is a beautiful color. And 99% of women are afraid to wear that color, but it looks good on almost everyone. It would go lovely with the taupe. I would use a middle color too, like maybe a rose color, something in between the taupe and coral.

sounds very pretty - taupe goes with almost anything. A lilac, pink, mint green, baby blue - any summery light color would be beautiful. You might get a small piece of material of the taupe you like and just hold it to some of these colors possiblilites and see what hits you. Lilac and pink are quite romantic and you could work with flowers of that color easier than the blue, but, pick what you like - it's one of the few times in life you get to do that!

As taupe is a neutral color, almost anything will go with it. Why not ask your fiance if he has a favorite color. It's a way to make him feel it's HIS wedding too.

I'd go with an orange. Not a bright orange. Kind of like a pumpkin orange or the kind of orange you see in the fall. That's one of the best colors to go with mocha/taupe. In my opinion that is.

I am getting married in April and I am using Pink and chocolate brown .... along with the different shades of brown you suggested. I think these look great together, and it has not been overused yet. Jean M has a lot of different products that are great in these colors.
If you are not a pink person I think that baby blue also would look wonderful with browns. Hope this helps!!

I like burgundy if it is a light mocha. If it is a medium mocha go down on the color with violet. If it is a dark mocha go further down with primrose. I do those schemes all the time with "browns".

try a cream color or a light taupe. you wouldn't want your wedding to look so dark in the summertime.

You can match almost anything to that. I know that pink and blue look good with it. You've just got to find the right shade. Great color pick.
